September "Mentor of the Month"

This Month's Outstanding Mentor is Jack Tiethof!

Jack mentors an 8th grader at Goleta Valley Junior High. Jack and his mentee will celebrate two fabulous years of mentoring on September 19th. Prior to being matched with his current mentee, Jack worked with another student in our program. We would like to honor Jack for his quiet service and dedication to his mentee and to the Fighting Back Mentor Program. He is someone who often flies under the radar with his contributions, but we just had to put him in the spotlight! :-) Jack will be receiving lunch for two at In-N-Out. Great job, Jack! Keep up the good work!
